There are several opportunities and ways to make a gift to Caroline Center. Caroline Center is a 501c (3) nonprofit organization and all contributions are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law. You may use a personal check payable to Caroline Center, credit card, or make an online donations.
The Annual Fund
The Caroline Center Annual Fund is an indispensable source of support for the operating budget and includes gifts from individuals, groups, foundations and corporations. Contributions may be pledged and allocated quarterly or semi-annually.
When tuition-based educational programs or schools need to raise revenue, often raising tuition is the first step in addressing financial needs. At Caroline Center, we provide career and life skills training to women at no cost to them. The majority of our operating budget is directed to programmatic support. As a program that is tuition-free, we count on the support of donors.
Your gifts support Caroline Center's mission and you will be giving hope to disenfranchised women in Baltimore City who seek the skills and confidence to change their lives and the lives of their families.
Matching Gift Program
If you or your spouse's employer offers a matching gift program you may be able to double your gift to Caroline Center. Ask your company's Human Resources Department if your company matches charitable gifts to nonprofit organizations. You will need to include a matching gift form from your employer along with your gift.
Gifts of Stock
Many donors find making gifts of appreciated stock or mutual funds to be convenient and advantageous. By gifting stock, you are making a meaningful difference to Caroline Center and possibly off-setting your capital gifts taxes. Direct transfers can be made from your broker by contacting:

One of our goals is to provide support to our trainees at Caroline Center by developing a group of individual trainee sponsors. Mother Caroline Friess, SSND Planned Giving Society
We invite donors to help Caroline Center build for a strong future by becoming a member of the Mother Caroline Friess, SSND Planned Giving Society. By electing to make a planned gift, you may direct that Caroline Center receive a certain sum of money, or a percentage of your estate. The requirement for membership is written notification to Caroline Center that a remembrance has been made through a will, trust, annuity or life insurance policy.

Once you have committed to a planned gift to Caroline Center, there are personal financial benefits for you:
- Income tax savings. To encourage private contributions, our government allows you to deduct them on your income tax return, provided you itemize.
- Reduction of estate and probate costs. Gifts to Caroline Center, either now or at death, avoid the federal estate tax. A contribution now also reduces probate costs later.
Gifts to the Endowment
